Amarsingh Kanase-Patil was born in Karad, Maharashtra on June 3,1981. He received his B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) in 2002 and M.E. (Mechanical-Heat Power Engineering) in 2006 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Currently he is a Research Scholar at Alternate Hydro Energy Centre, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. His area of interests are Modeling of IRES and Hybrid Energy Systems. Currently doing research on cost effective and reliable way of rural electrification to remote rural areas of Uttarakhand state, India.
